Aaliyah Dana Haughton burst into the limelight in 1994 when she dropped her debut album Age Ain't Nothing But an number. She was only 15 at when the album was released and it was later renamed Gold. The collaboration was strongly influenced by R. Kelly, and put the singer on the map.
