Suzanne Pleshette worked as an actor and voice artist throughout the US. Over the course of her almost five decades of career she had earned hundreds of credits on her record. Pleshette began her acting career at the age of five in New York on stage, before moving on to film. Her most notable films include 'Rome Adventure,' 'The Birds', 'Fate is the Hunter', 'If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium as well as Support Your Local Gunfighter. There was also a diverse range of roles on TV as well as in TV movies. Pleshette was nominated for Emmy Awards four times and Golden Globe Awards twice. Pleshette was considered for the Laurel Award twice and won the award in 1963 when she appeared in the film 'The Birds. Her death in 2008 resulted in an award posthumously conferred to her Star along the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
