Jill AND Mary

Jillian Norel Hennessy (born 25th November on the 25th of November, 1968) is a Canadian artist, actress and vocalist who had a major impact in American television. The most famous of her works are her amazing performances on the American television shows like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons in the role of prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy's acting skills were also displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as along with Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. Through these independently produced films, she flexed both co-directing as well as writing skills. Hennessy started her career as an actor in Dead Ringers with her sister. In 1990, she was as a guest on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Her next move was to sci-fi, and portrayed her first role as Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. In the same year, she was promoted to the assistant prosecutor Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. The three-season run in the role was a hit with audiences. The show ended in 1996. Parker has appeared on movies and series like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels In America and RED Fried Green Tomatoes for which she won the Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker was awarded an award in 2001, the Tony Award as Best Actress for the Broadway production Proof.
